Carter, Landis, Mason, Spencer and Marla, sincere condolences on the lost of your mother...she was a very special person. Marla, I have a lot of great memories of Girl Scouts at your house with your mom & Ann Merdink guiding us! Also birthday parties and special occasions. She was a asset to the community as well, and was a wonderful leader and volunteer! Sincerely, Donna Carlson Wilson

We would like to extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Clarice. She was a very special person. I grew to learn a lot about her and her family from being a member of the Monday Study Club. She was very special to the town of Stephen and very involved with many activities. She will be missed by a lot of people.

I knew Clarice when I worked at the Hospital in Warren. She was such a sweet and kind lady whom everyone loved. My sympathy to all her family.

To the family of Clarice Hjelle,

We send to you our deepest sympathy at this time of loss and sadness. It is hard to find the right words at a time such as this....but we hope that our thoughts and prayers help to ease your sorrow.

It is always too soon to say goodbye to someone we love...but when it happens suddenly, our pain is often time more difficult to handle.

May the memories each of you has of Clarice sustain you during this difficult time. And, may those memories always shine with a beautiful brilliance in your lives.

Our Love and Friendship,
Kevin, Gayle, Jim, and K.C. Solum

I am so very sorry to hear of Clarice's leaving us. Always remember how kind she was to my girls, in connection with Girl's State. She was a very special lady and I will remember her in my prayers. She was such a part of downtown, and will be sorely missed by all of Stephen.
