Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Dale was always friendly and during his time as Co. Commissioner he did an outstanding job. He was a great supporter of the Marshall Co. Fair and Warren Ambulance Corps.

The past several years I have had the privilege of deer hunting with Dale in his heated stand. It wasn't just watching deer that was memorable - or being chastised by him if I missed a shot at a deer (which happened several times) - but most memorable were the discussions we had. We talked politics, farming, and theology. Last November he turned to me and said this would be his last year hunting - it was. Occasionally he seemed gruff on the surface - but he had a big heart. I will greatly miss him.
