Dear Doug and family, In Doris's passing I feel the loss of one more friend who knew me when we were young - before marriage and children. Though our paths have not crossed often I valued our friendship. When Luke became the pastor so I returned to Warren, we both always enjoyed our times together. With Duan and Karl dying in 2016 we were brought back to memories of the early years. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Doug and family. I am so sorry to hear of Doris' passing. I am glad I saw her at Kurt's wedding and chatted a bit. I would have never guessed she was 94! I have fond memories of babysitting for your children and of a girls' church group that Doris led when we were young. You are in my prayers. Mary Beth

My prayers of support and condolences are coming your way at this sad time. Having known your family for decades primarily through church, confirmation and school activities, I also knew Doris perhaps better than other mothers because so many times I waited patiently while my own mother and Doris were busy on a committee, working in the kitchen at church! I also remember her lovely piano playing which was always a treasured contribution to the service! The last time I sat with Doris was at church when they were celebrating their anniversary. I was proud to sit with them and look back at that time with fondness. God bless you all at this difficult time.
