Gerald was one of my favorite people. Somewhat reserved and unassuming but with a great sense of humor once you got to know him. At FSA meetings he always came early and sat in the last row left corner seat. A true professional at work. I often remember him at our FSA fishing trips and also our visits at meetings. He was a friend as well a co-worker. Always a gentleman and is missed.

Sharon and Family. So sorry for your loss of your loved one. Gerald was one of the first friends I had, starting playing in the sandbox at Sunday School continuing through college and beyond. We were even roommates the last quarter or so in Fargo. After moving west in 1973 we kind of lost contact but touched base occasionally. I remember Gerald and you came to my Dad's funeral in 1981. I appreciated that very much. He was a good guy.

Sharon, I love the picture you have posted of Gerald. That smile of his was the one thing I remember the most about him. Whenever it showed up, Gerald was up to something. One time it was a dead bird under the papers on my desk. Oh that smile that he had that day when I found the bird. So many FmHA stories to tell and remember. My sympathy to you and the kids.

Dear Sharon and Family, What a shock to hear of the loss of Gerald so suddenly. I will never forget all of our experiences and "adventures"! I am thankful for all the guidance and advice he passed on over the years. He will be missed dearly, and one consolation I have is to think that he is enjoying the happy hunting grounds immensely. He was a good friend of the highest caliber! Rest in peace Buddy.
