I was not in Warren when Kenneth drove school bus; he seemed to follow his brother John's footsteps, because I rode John's bus when I was 12 years old. But then I moved away, and didn't see him much. He was a live-wire at our Cousin Reunion in 2001 though, and received reward cookies for having the most grandkids and for being the tallest of us all. Memories.

I have many wonderful memories of Kenny as our bus driver and as our neighbor while I grew up a half mile east of Vernon's farm. I remember Kenny fixing our minibikes so us kids could have a good time! God bless the memory of Kenny.

Rest in peace, Kenny, may the Lord be with you. You will always be remembered as a true friend and cousin. We had many enjoyable experiences together when we were growing up and teenagers. May your family feel God's presence with them during this time of sorrow.

In the guestbook entry is says leaving an email address is optional as it "allows the FAMILY to respond." That's exactly the purpose behind this condolence, Family. Because when a member of the "Pony Family" past or present, leaves us, we all feel it with heavy hearts. 52 years as a bus driver....may his route into life eternal be rut free.

God's Blessings to all.

To Verona and all of Kenny's family - We are so sorry to hear of Kenny's passing. There are lots of memories of driving bus together for 30+ years. Time goes fast and it hardly seems possible he was gone from the WAO transportation system for eight years!! He was always a dependable driver for the district and I missed him a lot when he left. Rest in Peace, Kenny.

Verona and Family:
I just heard that your husband (and father) went to be with the Lord. He will be dearly missed, though with great memories to be had. Kenny was one of the "Good Guys" around the Warren community. He is lucky to have had such a large family who loved him so much. Draw near to the Lord as your tears come in saying your goodbyes.

Our condolences to the Poolman family. I remember Ken was always the driver of the players' bus for all away games. He and his Dad were also one of my first employers, when I drove truck during harvest. Sorry for your loss but take comfort in knowing he is at peace and with the loved ones that have gone before.
