To Arlene & Family From Our Family, We wish to offer our sincerest sympathy on the loss of Kenny. Kenny & I went to 12 yrs of school together, were close farm neighbors growing up. My parents always had complementary comments when keeping us up on the local news regarding the two of you. Karen & I both enjoyed Sherry's facebook pictures on family travels. You will all be in our prayers.
Best Regards
Karen & Lowell

Arlene, Sherry, Julie, and Family,
We are so sad to hear of Kenny's passing. He was a good husband and father and contributed to his community. I know he and my dad Ed who passed about a year and a half ago will have a cup of coffee in Heaven.

Sheri, and Julie I am so sorry to hear of your Father Kenny's passing. Growing up in Oslo it is hard not to have memories of the so very many people from my youth, and I have several wonderful OHS memories of you Sheri, not as many with Julie being younger and all, but still many good memories. Having the pleasure of knowing Kenny did not happen till my older years working at Cenex. If i was to make a list of people from Oslo that once you have met them, for one reason or another you could never forget them, well Kenny would be in the top 5, maybe top 2. Every conversation was a joy, and Kenny never once had anything less than a smile on his face, Even when being out fished on the Cenex fishing trip. My wife Tina knew him from the Cafe when she worked there, and she sends he condolences as well, and i am sad to say i never once met your Mother Arlene. God bless you all, and i hope you find peace in knowing that Kenny is in Heaven reunited with the loved one, and friends who have already passed, and i will always be grateful that the path God laid out for me crossed that of Kenny's and i was blessed with the gift of having known him, and of knowing yours as well Sheri, and Julie. God bless you all.

Our deepest sympathy to you Arlene and all the family. We always enjoyed visiting with both of you, and Gene enjoyed having coffee with him many times in Grand Forks.
They enjoyed talking of past years in farming and he always had a smile and humor.
May God give you strength during these days of sorrow. RIP Kenny.

When someone you love becomes a memory, those memories become treasures. Kenny was one of the most loving husband and family man. So warm, kind, gentle, and caring but also very humorous and fun loving. Whenever you bumped into Kenny his lovely wife, Arlene, was at his side. They set the scene of a "loving home" for their daughters to follow in their marriages. What a wonderful example to follow!!! Arlene, Sherri, Julie and families, may your treasured memories bring peace and comfort in the days to follow. Celebrate his NEW ETERNAL LIFE in HEAVEN until you meet again. Lifting you up in prayer.

The passing of Kenny saddens me very much. Every time I saw him he had a smile that could sweep you off your feet. He was always so so happy telling the stories about his children his grandchildren his lovely wife Arlene. About all the excursions they've been on and how he just loved to do the things that made Arlene happy. A happy wife is a happy household I was told with a large grin on his face. My condolences to Arlene and the family. May Kenny Rest in Peace.

My sympathies to Kenny's family. We were neighbors on the farm north of Oslo. Nobody will ever know all Kenny did for our family behind the scenes. Everything from bringing in the tractors to help plow/blow out the snow, hiring Rodney and teaching him how to be Julie's helper in the field (ha), and letting Courtney be in his little train during the Bean Days parades. I was able to visit w/ Kenny for a long time just a few weeks ago and was able to share my gratitude with him, he was so humble (of course).

How blessed you all were to belong to such a kind, loving family. Whenever I would see Kenny and Arlene, they would be wearing the most beautiful smiles. They were so happy and they let it show. All the years that went by and they really never changed, just kept smiling😊

Always was a joker, loved to kid around, always had time to talk about what was happening with your family. Kenny will be missed by many. Will miss our chats. Rest In Peace! My heart goes out to Arlene, Sherri, Julie, and family. Kenny was such a wonderful soul. I was so glad that I became so close to cousin Julie which game me a chance to become closer to Kenny also. He always wore a smile and loved to joke around and chat. I always enjoyed Haugen family gatherings because it always meant Kenny and Arlene would be there.
Kenny, you are a true blessing to those who met you. Rest in peace and say hello to grandma Viv for me.
