My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I will always remember him being one of the kindest men I have ever met. He exuded kindness and happiness all of the time. His smile and calming presence in the hall, on that corner, in front of his classroom, is one of my best memories at WHS. Heaven has received a true blessing, a very special angel.

I can't say anything else about his teaching that hasn't already been said. But what I will say is how he went out of his way to say hi to you and a hand shake and a sincere how are you doing and what have you been up to. Seeing him come into the restraunt and him saying hi to everyone and then him sitting down by you and then saying mind if I join you with a { Big OJ Smile } My heart felt condolences go out to his family and friends.

Mr. Peyton was one of the best educators, men, mentors and community members Warren, MN ever had the privilege to be home to. He always had a smile....always. He made the subjects of Science and Chemistry interesting to someone like myself that thought with the "other side" of their brain. His legacy will live on, and we all celebrate his life and mourn his passing. My condolences to your family on the loss of one of the truly "good ones".

David, Mike, Brad,: My condolences on the loss of your father. I enjoyed Mr. Peyton so much as a WHS teacher. Your father exuded the love of the youth of our town! Whether at the school or the pool or at our different sporting events, he was seen having a good time and laughing. Recently it was nice seeing your father at the Marshall County Fair and just saying hi. (which turned into an entire update on myself and sisters) Your father will always be remembered as one who added to the lives of others.

Mr. Peyton treated me with respect and kindness. He smiled directly at me, which always made me feel important. Most of us name a teacher when asked who had the most positive effect on our lives, Mr. Peyton did that for me.
As a teacher for 35 years, I treated each and every student with the utmost respect and kindness. Mr. Peyton's attitude as a teacher lived on through his career and through my career. He truly touched the future. Through me, my former students were touched by Mr. Peyton and some may continue to touch the future with his attitude of respect and kindness.
Mr. Peyton was my hero.

Mr. Peyton was one of the top teachers at WHS. Always had a smile on his face and "directing traffic" in the halls of Warren High. I got to see and speak with Mr. Peyton twice in the last two months at the nursing home in Warren, while visiting my Mom. He was very upbeat and I am glad I got to visit with him.

Prayers and Condolences go out to the Peyton family.

Brad, my prayers are with you and your family as your mourn your dad and rejoice in your memories. O.J. is at peace with his Lord and free from all pain and disease.
