Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Roger. We new Roger as a good friend classmate and roommate. Back in 1964 he was best man at our wedding. We looked forward to our trips to minn. Roger and I could share airplane stories. Roger we will miss you.

I remember Roger very well, being in Army Reserves with him in Grand Forks. Good guy & lotz of laughs back then. Actually, Melody & I picked out our engagement rings at Davis Jewelry the same day as Roger & his future wife did back in 1968.

I grew up with Roger at St Rose Elementary. He was a business client for over 40 years and very pleasant to deal with at all times. Roger was always sociable to me and enlightened all those around him. I will miss Roger very much.

It seems impossible that Roger is gone. I will miss having coffee with him early on Saturday mornings. He know that we, his Angle neighbors, would be up early and had the coffee pot on. We would catch up,on news and of course hear about his beloved Patti and adorable grandkids. Rest easy, Roger, and tell great stories in Heaven. You were a true original.

Knowing for a time that a loved one will no longer abide with us upon this earth that God has provided for us doesn't make their passing any easier for family and friends. I'm one of the thousands that was a part of his life, not a big part by any means, but non the less we've had some conversations over the course of my first meeting Roger about 25 years ago.
