Grandpa will be very missed. It feels like he is gone way to soon. He loved being on the farm and all those cats. I will never forget when I would be heading home from the farm and I would give him a hug. After giving him a hug I would look at him and he would have a smile on his face.

I used to work at the clinic in TRF. Vern was such a kind, friendly, sweet man. He usually came by himself, so I didn't know anything about his family. One day he came to me and gave me a gift. The most beautiful lazy Susan/turn table. I told him I could not accept it, but he told me I had helped him out and always put him first. I almost started to cry right there. I will cherish that piece of beautiful woodwork. I left Sanford over 2 years ago, and have always wondered how he was doing. His family should feel honored. He was a wonderful person. God Bless
