Gaylord Grandstrand

Gaylord Grandstrand, 72, of Viking, MN, passed away on Friday evening, February 13, 2015 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND.

Gaylord Warren Grandstrand was born to Alvin and Bernice (Tangquist) Grandstrand on October 15, 1942 at Warren, MN. He was a life long resident of the Viking community where he attended school. Gaylord worked at Quality Motors in Warren, MN and Thief River Falls Jobbing in Thief River Falls, MN.

He is survived by his mother Bernice; two brothers, Winslow (Diane) of St. Paul, MN and Wesley (Jeanine) Grandstrand of Fridley, MN; nephew, Kirk (Jackie) Grandstrand; three nieces, Chelsey, Erin and Allis Grandstrand; great niece Grace Grandstrand; and great nephew, Charlie Grandstrand.

Gaylord was preceded in death by his father Alvin.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 AM on Friday, February 20, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Viking, MN.
VISITATION: 5:00 - 7:00 PM on Thursday at DuBore Funeral Home in Warren, MN and one hour before services at the church on Friday.
INTERMENT: Viking Cemetery, Viking, MN
